Anonymous: I want to excercise. But I really don't know where to start, I have a pretty decent cardio going, but I look kind of puny. I mainly want to build up my muscles, got any tips?

Weight bag / punching bag training, small weight lifting!

Anonymous: What's your opinion on pompadour-esque hairstyles?

Those with strong jawlines rock them the best, and they tend to look better amongst a herd of other pomps.

Like many, I agree that a solid navy tie is one of the most versatile neck accessories a person can have. Here are the 3 in my collection. Regular silk solid navy tie is from Lands’ End (thrifted, $3), silk knit tie is by Robert Talbott (I was wrong the other day when I said that the $13 ties I bought at J Crew’s 40% off sale were the most expensive I’ve ever purchased, that distinction belongs to this RT tie. Nordstrom Rack, $17), and the silk grenadine tie is a vintage Polo Ralph Lauren for Neiman Marcus (thrifted, $4).
I love them all, but the grenadine really does knot beautifully. They seem to be all the rage right now, and are priced according to the demand thus generated. I was lucky to have found this one thrfiting, it’s the only one I’ve seen in the last couple of years that hasn’t had a major stain, rip, etc.

Anonymous: Can I get a haircut like James Dean and look good

Depends, do you look similar to him?
